Pinke Panke city farm, Pankow

I have been reading about Kinderbauernhof Pinke Panke in Pankow. The information about the farm says it is an ecologically orientated playground for children, with of course animals. We loved it! It was built on a piece of land where the Berlin Wall once stood.  There is a huge sandpit with toys, kitchens, spades etc, lots of little trikes, bobby cars for kids to ride on and a big metal tractor sculpture to climb on. Whilst this is a city farm, it is also so much more.

Little update - the paths down to the river and the kitchen garden were open and made for a lovely walk in the sun.

There are a number of interesting buildings housing a little cafe and spaces of activities.

For older children there is a building playground.

They run a number of activity days, their website has more details.

There is no admission charge but they ask for a 1€ donation into an honesty box at the entrance.

Address: am Burgerpark 15-18, 13187 Berlin
